Our main goal
is to introduce and popularize the historical, natural

In 2007 we started – in cooperation with historical re-enactment groups REAS and Rotelevik – the first annual Kiruvere Muinaslaager – a gathering of re-enactors and history enthusiasts of Estonian Viking Age.

Combat
Members of Austrvegr Selts deal with historical military re-enactment of the Ancient Estonian period. We show our skills in events also (see one of our shows at Paide).
Together with other groups here and abroad, we develop and organize ancient combat reconstruction to better understand our heritage and the worldof our ancestors. We use the combat system developed by Muinaseesti Võitlusselts Reas, where the develompent of physical and mental skills of each enthusiast is as important as the historical reconstruction.
We are currently training in Tallinn. If you are interested, drop us an email at andrus@kiruvere.ee or priit@kiruvere.ee
